I’ve been weight training with Spencer twice a week for seven weeks now, an hour a session. I started off with no experience except the all too common failed attempts to train on my own. These had always ended in either an injury through bad technique or a lack motivation due to unrealistic expectations or a feeling of monotony doing the same exercises week in week out.
Spencer was strict on my technique and form from day one and this has led to no injuries and in fact I now feel stronger and more confident in problem areas like my knees. He has also been flexible: I commute to London every day and our train network could be better so this important for me.
The sessions are intense and varied, incorporating many different training techniques and exercises which keeps it interesting and challenging. I’ve never felt the sessions as being a chore and thoroughly look forward to them. The private studio is great too because I don’t like gyms. Most importantly I am making progress every week. I would thoroughly recommend Spencer as a personal trainer.
